The assumed panther track was made by a large dog. All of the assumed panther (cougar, mountain lion) tracks that we have seen in the East outside of Florida are either dog tracks or small bear tracks. Atoka is in the southeastern part of Oklahoma, NE of Dallas TX and SE of Oklahoma City. We are awaiting confirmation that the pictures were indeed taken in Oklahoma, not somewhere else.
