Cougar shot on Great Plains of northern Montana

Some cougars, mostly young adult males, decided to head East and manage to travel hundreds of miles from their birthplaces before they are killed. Probably they are looking for females before settling down and establishing a territory. Others don’t get as far. The cougar in this article was a female.
