We have no records of attacks on humans by panthers, but some instances of depredation on pets and livestock have been recorded, mainly since 2005 in Golden Gate Estates.   Starting in the 1960s, Golden Gate Estates was developed for residences.  Occasional conflicts with humans were predictable.
